To demonstrate the wetting and drying capabilities of FlexSem, a test simulation af a quadratic 50x50 km bay, forced with a 4m amplitude tide on the southern open boundary was carried out. The bathymetry slopes from +5 in north to -25 to the south. A 10 m deep tidepool in the swallow water to the west, an intertidal flat plain at 0 m in the middle and a 6 m deep narrowing channel is placed in the shallow water to the east.
