A full HD model with 1939 elements, 10 layers and a total of 8781 computational cells for Skive Fjord and Lovns Bredning has been set up, kalibrated and validated for 2010. Hjarbæk Fjord has been included in the model in a very coarse resolution to allow for the significant fresh water sources in this area to be included. The salinity gradient through the system is considerable: from 2 PSU in the Hjarbæk Fjord to >25 PSU in the outer part of Skive Fjord.
